(Re)Ithaka

Happiness is in as simple things as laying on the seashore watching the oppressor setting beyond oblivion; waves making a gushing sound, tickling the bare feet, and a tiny boat trying hard to stay up deep on the endless blues.

The time never stops. It keeps ticking endlessly. Fortunately you have some clarity of what in a bigger picture you wish to do in your live. But sometimes, even though you are pursuing goals with all your hearts and brains, your efforts dont see the outcome you had expected. Not that you lose interest in your passion and start hunting for something new; but in the tug of war that life plays with you, the spark which keeps the fire within burning.. one that puts the propeller in full swing, dulls briefly. The life rebels. Bonds that seem incredibly precious and unbreakable, quakes all of a sudden leaving you in complete bewilderment. The safe harbor that you once anchored to, remains only in the memories. The loss blurs the site of who you really want to be and what you really want to do in your life; That unknowingly drifts you in a flow which once upon a time you had refused to be a part of. And one day.. you look at the sand in the hour glass that has passed down.. the loss is agonizing.. undoable.. you cant hold anymore the pains that have outleveled your tolerance threshold.. you find yourself straying in wrong directions.. drifting away from your ambitions.. Man! That's when you tell yourself to hold on-analyse the cards at your hands- regather the lost trigger to again set forth for what you were meant to; And never remorse on what has been lost.

So, learn from the past to smile in the moment with bright hopes of future. Draw inspirations from that tiny boat braving the mighty blue ocean. Shade off the past that only stagnates or hurts you; and restart with new ideas & inspirations and love what you do. Bid Adios to those who never meant to be yours but embrace those who really valued you; Because only they stood by you when you fell and only they will inspire you to rise again. Dont regret nor quit; but dive into the newer horizons with energy & hopes; there, on the way, you will meet many more smiles. In that voyage, you shall again be tested. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. But mind you - only those pains will be worth enduring. Rewarding. Because sometimes this is the only way to know who you really are, what you are really capable of, and whom you should really be with. There perhaps lies ithaka that you must again stick with.

P.S. ithaka
